Trump Racks Up More Endorsements on Path to Presidency

He’s racked up a considerable number of endorsements in recent months, and he’s likely to pick up even more after the primary elections. Check out the Republicans who currently stand in support of the MAGA leader.

Growing Support in the Senate

Trump’s backing in Congress includes some of the Senate’s most notable members. Here are some of the members of the Upper Chamber who have spoken in support of the 45th president:

Marsha Blackburn (TN) said on X, the social media outlet formerly called Twitter, that she “can’t wait” to see Trump back in office.
Mike Braun (IN) believes the former president will return the country to prosperity.
Katie Britt (AL) says Trump is the only man for the job.
Ted Budd (NC) believes the American First agenda will get the country moving back in the right direction.
Tom Cotton (AR) is looking forward to seeing the country “back on track.”
Kevin Cramer (ND) is certain Trump can “Make America Great Again!”
Steve Daines (MT) was one of Trump’s earliest backers and is certain he’s chosen the winning candidate.
Tom Emmer (MN) said on X that Republicans needed to unite against the Democrats’ frontrunner, and backing the former president was the way to go.
Lindsey Graham (SC) is also a long-standing supporter of the 45th president.
Bill Hagerty (TN) believes Trump will rebuild the US’ strength and stand up against foreign threats like China.
John Hoeven (ND) cites secure borders and energy independence as his reasons for supporting the former president. He endorsed Trump after Douglas James Burgum, his first choice, dropped out.
Josh Hawley (MO) has been supporting the MAGA leader’s nomination for over a year.
Cindy Hyde-Smith (MS) backs the former president because she agrees with his confirmation of conservative judges as well as his policies on immigration and taxes.
Roger Marshall (KS) is over Biden’s “absent leadership” and wants to see the Right unite behind Trump.
Markwayne Mullin (OK) called the former president a “champion for our conservative values.”
Steve Scalise (LA) said on X that he’s ready to see the end of “Biden’s failed policies.”
Eric Schmitt of (MO) said Trump is popular in his state and has his support.
Rick Scott (FL) believes Trump can beat President Joe Biden.
Tommy Tuberville (AL) told X followers that the country needed Trump.
JD Vance (OH) supports the former president over his history of never starting a war.
Roger Wicker (MS) believes Trump will secure US borders and restore the economy.

Trump’s Other Endorsements

Business Insider states that Trump also has the support of at least seven state governors and 96 members of the US House of Representatives. The former president has the support of about 52% of all Republican voters, according to a Pew Research poll, although about 71% of the Right say they would be satisfied to have Trump on the GOP’s 2024 presidential ticket.

FiveThirtyEight notes that Trump’s favorability currently ranks at 42.6%, with Biden dragging behind at 39.7%.
