Advanced Air Defense Systems and Munitions

A significant portion of the aid package is dedicated to enhancing Ukraine’s air defense capabilities. The United States is providing National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile Systems (NASAMS), RIM-7 missiles, and Stinger anti-aircraft missiles. A virtual leader-level meeting of the Ramstein group, also known as the Ukraine Defense Contact Group, is scheduled for November.
